This speculated race is presumed to exist or have existed somewhere within the cosmos after a temple was discovered on the planet Eos by researchers detailing images of an advanced, intelligent race of large insect like beings which once inhabited the planet.

Researchers are still deciphering the language written inside the temples, but from the translated text and imagery, the race is presumed to be named the "Ylphlit" (closest English translation) of a planet known only as "Ym". Why they came to Eos is unknown, what is known is that some great calamity befell their race, and they abandoned Eos very quickly.

No technology has been discovered in the temple, only signs of advanced knowledge rivalling, and most likely surpassing humanity.

Researchers continue to document the ruins.
